2 Jemaah Islamiyah members, 13 Abu Sayyaf Group members killed in military strike
MANILA, Philippines — Two members of the foreign terror group Jemaah Islamiyah and 13 other Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) members were killed in a military strike in Parang town in Sulu early Thursday, a regional military official said.
Maj. Gen Noel Coballes, commander of the Western Mindanao Command, said two OV10 bombers dropped the bombs after they confirmed that at least 30 ASG members were holed up in a remote area in Parang town....
