Zale Corporation Appoints Beth M. Pritchard to the Board

Zale Corporation (NYSE: ZLC) announced today that Beth M. Pritchard, a
retail industry veteran, will join its Board effective March 9, 2012.
This appointment will increase the total number of Board seats to eight.
