PORT ST. LUCIE —Ike Davis’ departure from spring training was short-lived.
The Mets first baseman is scheduled to resume workouts today, after traveling to New York for what the team yesterday called a continuation of his physical.
A team spokesman said Davis’ trip had nothing to do with the ankle......
